SERVING SUGGESTIONS
PIMP YOUR BURGER!
Pairing them with some delicious chutneys, sauces, mayo, cheeeses, pickles or chillis really bring these burgers to the next level. They are great in a burger bun, pitta, or just as pattie with salads. I personally like mine on a toasted slice of good quality sourdough, topped with melted mature cheddar, avocado, mayo and something spicy! I then serve with a simple crunchy side salad. They are also delicious the next day hot or cold in a sandwich, wrap or toastie. Some cheeky fries or chips also wouldn't go a miss if you're going for the full burger experience!
HOW TO STORE THE LENTIL BURGERS
They can be refridgerated for 3 days, and then either eaten cold (if you've already fried them off) or warmed in a microwave then crisped off in a pan. Make sure they are heated through.
If frozen, keep in a suitable container for up to 3 months. They can then be defrosted in the fridge overnight and heated in the oven or in a pan. Alternatively you could microwave them to defrost, then crisp up in pan. Just be sure to get them piping hot all the way through when reheating.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE THEM
As well as all the ingredients listed on the recipe card, you will need a food processor or blender to bring the ingredients togather. Ideally your pan should be non-stick too.
