Granola Recipe
Easy, healthy and delicious breakfast or snack, free-from refined sugar.
I absolutely love this recipe - healthy granola that is easy to make, refined sugar-free and great as a snack at any time of day. When I made this, I wondered why I ever bought granola as this is the best granola recipe! The only problem is, it's addictive so I don't stop snacking if it's in eye view.
It's an all-round family winner in our house - just goes far too quickly. Some of us just like a handful to snack on, some of us with yoghurt, some of us with milk and some just like to pick out the oaty bits! The smell of baking it is also incredible, so it's a good one to make if you're trying to sell your house and having viewings!

GIFT IT!
Free-from refined sugar yet really luxurious, this granola would make a lovely home-made gift, packed up in a lovely bag or jar. Try adding different dried fruits at the end, or freeze-dried berries or dark chocolate chips for a really special treat. It is easily made vegan and gluten free so should be safe to be enjoyed by most people! You can just exclude the nuts for anyone with an intolerance.

FREE FROM VERSIONS
My recipe includes honey so is dairy-free but not vegan, but the honey could easily be swapped for date syrup, brown-rice syrup or similar to make a vegan version. Use gluten free oats for gluten free. For a nut-free version just omit the nuts. You could make the mix more interesting by adding other dried fruits or chocolate chips when cooled, although just a plain oaty version is still really delicious.
WHAT TO ADD
Try adding sulatans, chopped dates, goji berries, dessicated coconut, dark chocolate chips, dried apricots or banana chips to make this your own.
